Edd Thompson
Edd is a specialist VAT trainer and adviser with over 15 years’ experience in UK VAT. He is both a Chartered Tax Adviser and a Chartered Accountant.
Previously Head of Indirect Taxes at Tolley, one of the UK’s leading tax research providers, Edd began his career training in VAT with a top 10 accountancy firm before moving into advisory work. He has also gained valuable experience on secondment to the in-house VAT function of a major North American bank.
Edd is an experienced educator, having taught on ATT and CTA programmes and lectured for professional bodies. He is also a regular contributor to leading VAT and tax publications, including De Voil Indirect Tax Service, Tolley’s Value Added Tax, Tax Journal, Taxation Magazine and Tax Adviser.
