>Classroom training>The GDPR Update
Course overview
The data protection regime in the UK is changing – but how significant are these changes, and which will impact your business? The Data (Use and Access) Act updates GDPR and other data protection laws, while the ICO continues to issue new guidance and take regular enforcement action. Increasing scrutiny on how organisations collect, use and share data means compliance is no longer just a legal necessity, but a core business risk and reputational priority.
This half-day course will look at all these aspects and provide an essential update for anyone responsible for or involved in data protection compliance within their organisation. Attendance will also help you to demonstrate your ongoing commitment to compliance with data protection laws, as required by the ICO.
During this practical and comprehensive course, our expert presenter will carefully explain...
- What will be included in the new Data (Use and Access) Act
- The background and reasons for recent enforcement actions
- The key messages coming from the ICO and other EU regulators
- The key compliance areas that organisations should be focused on throughout 2026
