>Classroom training>ID Verification & Companies House Reforms
Course overview
There are major changes underway at Companies House under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act. Described by the Government as "the most fundamental change to the purpose and role of Companies House since its creation”, these measures impact every UK registered company. Several provisions are already in place, with more being rolled out throughout the year.
This half-day course is crucial for anyone involved in company administration or governance. It will cover the full scope of the reforms, their practical implications and crucially, the actions you must take to stay compliant. A particular focus will be on the new identity verification (IDV) requirement for directors and PSCs, which becomes mandatory from November 2025.
