>Classroom training>Employment Law & HR Update
Course overview
The introduction of new legislation and regular court and tribunal decisions mean that the employment law landscape is always changing.
The election of a new Government means that we are about to see the most significant reforms for many years in the form of The Employment Rights Bill. Crucially, this update will help you understand the provisions of the Bill, which seeks to enforce many new or enhanced rights for employees. The measures include changes to working hours obligations, rights to claim unfair dismissal, statutory pay, new fire and rehire guidance and flexible working rights.
The presenter will also discuss recent developments regarding the employment of overseas workers, guidance on employment status and recent case law on equality and discrimination.
Attending this training will help you to ensure that your organisation is informed, compliant with current requirements and prepared for future developments. It will help you clearly understand the implications that any changes and rulings will have on your business and what you need to do to correctly apply the law in practice.
